Summary[]
Even though it’s Asagao's futatsume promotion, Akane’s own promotion recommendation is on the line with this performance as the zenza opening act. The one judging her is not only a friend of Chocho’s and Taizen, one of the Arakawa Arch Four, but also a longtime friend of her own father. Taizen recognizes Akane’s talent but is threatened to not recommend or promote any of Shiguma’s students by Zensho, another one of the Arch Four. Will Taizen make the right decision, or will he succumb to his peer? Meanwhile, Maikeru Arakawa is gearing up to be the first person in the Arakawa school to take the shin’uchi test since the expulsion scandal.
On the stage where the recommendation for promotion to futatsume was at stake, Akane was able to showcase her unique talent. The world that opened up before her due to the "nin" she brought to the stage had another effect—but her success brings about a certain crisis! What changes the tense situation? As a decisive judgment is passed on her heartfelt performance, the story takes a new turn.

Taizen is silent and has a scary face, so at first he was a difficult character to draw, and I would rack my brains over how to portray him every time he appeared. However, after drawing one chapter in this volume, I had a change of heart and thought, "Taizen... that's good!." I wonder which chapter that was. I hope you will continue to look forward to volume 12.
Akane-banashi has finally reached its 100th episode!! It's our 2nd anniversary!!! Before the series started, Suenaga-san, our editor and I were watching the M-1 Grand Prix on Shueisha and saying, "Let's try our best to continue for about 30 episodes," and it seems like such a long time ago. We'll keep doing our best to keep it going, so please keep supporting us!
