Family:
- Akane Osaki: Shinta feels great affection towards Akane, when Akane decided to be a pupil of Shiguma Arakawa he supported her.
- Masaki Osaki: Shinta loves his wife, who supported him in his career as a rakugoka.
Shiguma School:
- Shiguma Arakawa: Being the person who taught him everything about rakugo, Shinta has great respect for his former master, even entrusting Akane's career to him.
- Maikeru Arakawa: He and Maikeru are great friends being together in the same rakugo school. It is not known exactly how long they have known each other but it has been implied that they have known each other for a long time. Shinta trusts Maikeru a lot and her abilities and she trusts him as a friend asking him to take care of her daughter when it was her anniversary dinner with Masaki. Apparently, they are still in contact even though they are no longer in the same school.
- Koguma Arakawa: Shinta was Koguma's superior when he started at Shiguma's school. Koguma and him used to spend time together since they were both lovers of ancient stories so they used to go to libraries with old rakugo books. Shinta was the person who encouraged Koguma to change his personality on stage as well as to believe more in himself.
- Kyoji Arakawa: He and Kyoji were good friends. According to Kyoji's words, Shinta used to be a cheerful when he drank and they used to dance Kappore together.
- Guriko Arakawa: According to Guriko's words, he and Shinta did not have such a close relationship because Shinta's expulsion happened months after Guriko entered the Shiguma school, so they did not live together for long but Shinta always helped Guriko with everything he needed.
Arakawa School:
- Taizen Arakawa: Like Chocho, Taizen and Shinta are great friends, they both used to perform together and even did several performances together. Currently Taizen does not usually talk to Shinta since he thinks that Shinta's expulsion was his fault.
Friends:
- Chocho Konjakutei: He and Chocho are great friends. They both used to do performances together when they were both Futatsume. Chocho usually regrets the day he was expelled from Arakawa school, despite that they both still keep in contact, even Chocho calls him often.
