Sharaku Ransaika (蘭彩歌しゃ楽, Ransaika Sharaku) is a character in Akane-Banashi series. He is a Shin'uchi rakugoka and the master of Urara Ransaika.
Etymology[]
- Sharaku's name means "music/comfort" (楽) (raku).
Appearance[]
He is an elderly person, so he usually has wrinkles and white hair. He used to be seen wearing the hakama typical of the Shin'uchi rank in his performances.

He was famous rakugoka during the mid-20th century, he was known for his performances.
During his time as a rakugoka, he refused to teach his art because he did not consider that anyone was talented enough to inherit his knowledge, so he decided that his knowledge would die with him until he met Urara, who saw the potential in her, he would convince her to become a rakugoka and teach her his rakugo.
