Masaki Osaki (桜咲真幸, Ōsaki Masaki) is a character of Akane-Banashi series. She is the wife of Shinta Arakawa and the mother of Akane Osaki.
Etymology[]
- Masaki's name means "true/reality" (真) (ma) and "happiness/blessing" (幸) (saki).
- Masaki's last name means "cherry/sakura" (桜) (ou) and "blossom" (咲) (saki).
Appearance[]
She usually wears a turtleneck sweater.
Previously she used to have long hair. Currently, her hair is short.
When she works as a hairdresser, she usually ties her hair up and wears a dark robe.
Personality[]
Masaki is usually nice to people.
History[]
Masaki married Shinta and they had a daughter.
She supported her husband during her career as a Rakugoka and attended her Shin'nuchi promotion exam. After Shinta's expulsion she went to Shiguma to ask for explanations.
She later saw Akane receive rakugo classes although she initially refused the idea due to Akane's attitude and Shinta's approval she agreed to let her learn rakugo.
