Appearance[]
Koguma is the oldest among the pupils, but he looks much younger than his actual age.
He usually wears glasses in addition to wearing a hoody. When he performs he usually wears a white kimono.

Personality[]
Koguma is a shy and introverted Rakugoka pupil who is always found with his nose buried in books. He specializes in old literature, and his style of Rakugo is entirely narrative with little to no acting. Despite his calm demeanor, Koguma is a nervous wreck at the prospect of mentoring Akane due to the fear of letting her down. He carries the nickname "Teddy Bear" given by Maikeru due to the similarity between his name and the Japanese word for "bear cub."
He is usually thinks a lot about things making him indecisive. According to Guriko, he is usually pessimistic most of the time, due to this nature he usually learns everything related to the story he wants to interpret, making his attitude change during his presentations to a more self-confident personality.
Rakugo Style[]
"The Art of Education".
His Rakugo style is "terakoya". He is known for telling stories as they happened without character dialogue, although he usually does so in a way that feels realistic and entertaining. In Shiguma's school he is the best terakoya, that is, he is a master in the art of teaching ancient literature.[2]
History[]
As a child, Koguma changed schools a lot due to his parents' work, so he tried not to socialize or make friends since he knew he would be transferred again at any time, so he studied and read books as an escape. He studied at the University of Tokyo in where Koguma did not interact with anyone because he did not feel comfortable until he joined the rakugo club where he participated in competitions.. From that moment Koguma developed a love for rakugo so he researched ancient stories. He's graduated of the university at the top of his class.
At some point he would meet Shiguma and convince him to become his disciple.
