Summary[]
In another place Ryuun reads the news about the Karaku cup mentioning that everyone is fascinated by that rookie, noticing his words he apologizes to Shiguma who was in the same place, Shiguma mentions that he has no reason to feel insulted Ryuun is relieved but tells her that she is his apprentice since their narrative is similar, Shomei interrupts the conversation mentioning that the meeting is about Arakawa again Shomei mentions that individual promotion methods are unusual, Chocho interrupts him and mentions that although he agrees that Issho is an annoying person Kaisei's promotion has paid off and draws attention, Urara mentions that despite that it seems that Kaisei's early promotion has caused some rakugoka annoyance since it seems like preferential treatment, Enso mentions that if they are upset about it they should follow Issho's example since he is not the only one who doesn't follows the rules, at which point Miroku calms the situation by mentioning that they should sit down, calm down and talk about it since the Rakugo Federation is created to bring order to the world of rakugo anyway.
At the Arakawa's house, Kyoji apologizes to Akane for the example he gave her the night before, Akane mentions that she shouldn't worry but she should ask him for a favor, she wants him to teach her how to play instruments and dance, Kyoji is not surprised since before Guriko and Koguma had told him that Akane would ask him for that favor, Kyoji teaches him to play the ichiban-daiko while Akane practices Kyoji asks him how he has handled the article situation, Akane mentions that he has become a mini-celebrity because of the article but she feels depressed that she was unable to impress Issho in the Karaku cup.
Kyoji remembers a conversation he had with Hakushu, who mentions that some rakugoka think that Issho organized the Karaku cup to create a second Kaisei Arakawa, Kyoji mentions that if Akane's success went up, he had a contingency plan but seeing Akane can be calmer and that the zenza training will be complicated but that he trusts Akane. During Akane's practice with the Ichiban-daiko we see time pass, the time she spends with Risa and Yuka and her graduation from high school together with Jumbo.
8 months later Akane is in Yasakatei along with Karashi to start their Zenza training.
