Summary[]
It takes place six years after the events of the Arakawa school's Shin'uchi promotion test, which led to the expulsion of Shinta Arakawa Akane Osaki, now a teenager, remains deeply affected by the unjust expulsion of her father, Shinta Arakawa, from the rakugo world. Determined to honor his legacy, she seeks to enter the rakugo profession herself.
In this chapter, Akane approaches Shiguma Arakawa, her father's former master, to become his apprentice. Initially hesitant, Shiguma is impressed by Akane's passion and dedication, ultimately agreeing to mentor her. The chapter also introduces Guriko Arakawa, a fellow rakugo practitioner, who may serve as a rival or foil to Akane in future developments.
