Asagao Konjakutei (今昔亭朝がお, Konjakutei Asagao) is a character in Akane-Banashi series. He was Akane, Karashi, and Unun's Tate Zenza during their training period at the Yasakatei.
Etymology[]
- Asagao's name means "morning" (朝) (asa).
Appearance[]
Asagao is a tall person and has a triangular shaped hairstyle. When he performs his work as a rakugoka he often wears a traditional hakama to show his rank.

He is a person who takes his work as a leader and rakugoka seriously, despite being a mostly serious person, he usually supports his colleagues when they need it, it has also been shown that he is a very loyal person towards his superiors and the people to whom he has respect for him.

Asagao would join the Konjakutei School and be trained by Chocho.
At some point Asagao had a fight with Rien due to him insulting his teacher, due to this accident he couldn't be promoted to Futatsume rank[1].
